On Sunday, November 9th, the Charleston Magazine Club gathered at the Stono Ferry Racetrack for A Day at the Races at Steeplechase. It was an afternoon of refined charm and Southern elegance. Members were welcomed with a glass of Don Luchi prosecco before stepping into our beautifully appointed tent, an unforgettable space designed by Well Furnished that exceeded every expectation. With every detail thoughtfully curated, from the inviting lounge settings to the chic tablescapes, the tent set the perfect scene for a day of style, conversation, and excitement. Guests enjoyed a delicious menu catered by By the Grace of Grits and joined in the spirited Best Dressed Contest judged by Nicholas Overstreet of Boysterous Couture, celebrating the timeless allure of race-day fashion.
