Runaround Sue at 34 West Theatre

Thursday, May 5, 2016 - 8:00pm

Travel back in time to the 1950s, when doo-wop sounds echoed across radio waves and on diner jukeboxes throughout America. This new musical, written by the co-founders of 34 West, Stephen Wyne and Jeff Querin, follows a local beautician who decides to run for office against incumbent (and her former fiancé) Mayor McClintock. With 13 hit songs from the era, Runaround Sue fuses I Love Lucy with Jersey Boys. 34 West Theatre, 200 Meeting St. Thursday, 8 p.m.
