Migration to Memminger
Thursday, October 9th
6:30-9:30pm
Mark the date for an exclusive evening with the Center for Birds of Prey in historic Memminger Auditorium on Thursday, October 9, 2014.
Migration to Memminger, the annual fundraiser of the Avian Conservation Center and Center for Birds of Prey will celebrate the profound importance of avian species who annually weave our planet together through connective flyways during migration. Funds raised will support the Center’s ongoing mission of identifying and addressing vital environmental issues by providing medical care to injured birds of prey and shorebirds, and through educational, research and conservation initiatives.
This distinctive annual event will offer participants a rare and intimate encounter with the Center’s resident collection of hawks, eagles, falcons, kites, and owls, all while enjoying delicious hors d’oeuvres and cocktails within the elegant Memminger setting. Live and silent auctions will offer unique and special items and experiences, and personal photographs with a stunning bird of prey will be available for guests.
Priced at $125 per attendee, tickets will go on sale in August. To put your name on a waitlist for reservations, contact the Center for Birds of Prey at (843) 971-7474.
Charleston Magazine Gold Club Members will receive an email to enter a drawing for tickets.
