Gibbes on the Street

Thursday, May 12, 2016 - 7:30pm to 10:00pm

After an 18-month renovation, the Gibbes Museum of Art is set to reopen on May 28. But first, enjoy its annual block party, this year with a "Forbidden City" theme. Guests will be treated to an evening full of vibrant colors, surprise live entertainment, and savory Asian-themed cuisine. Sample eats from two-dozen celebrated Charleston chefs who have created specialty dishes for the occasion, and sip on cocktails from local bars. Gibbes Museum of Art, 135 Meeting St. Thursday: 7:30-10 p.m.
